Are cargo pants and Jeans shorts bad to wear in the hot weather ?

I wear cargo shorts every day and they feel fine. I only wear athletic shorts if I'm playing a sport. (The athletic smell if u sweat) ((I get hot easily and cargo SHORTS feel fine))
