I keep hearing that drugs like lexapro are dangerous to a fetus...?

so what if i get pregnant and have not gotten off the lexapro? i keep hearing different things like its ok to take while pregnant, but I want to be as safe as possible. if i quit while pregnant, could that still put the fetus at risk for heart problems like lawyers have said it does?
