What is a good brand of clothes?

I am looking for clothes to wear when im not at work so i look nice, causal stuff and some stuff if i ever to need dress nice for dinner with the family or go out with my friends. I used to shop at buckle and bought a bunch of that really shiny and designs everywhere with skulls and wings and crap clothes but now i think that's kind of lame. I am 18 years old and i want to look like a gentlemen and not a frat boy. I was looking at brands like gap, old navy, eddie bauer, nothing to expensive but i still want it to fit nice and have good style.Please help. thank you
