How can you stay close to a parent who works overseas?

Well if you just want stuff to talk about maybe you should do more fun things so you can have more to talk about with your dad... tell him about a movie you seen or a book your reading, stuff your doing after school, funny experiences you had...someone you have a crush on...etc.
