When can an ultrasound show a fetus?

I'm going into the Gynecologist tomorrow for an ultrasound. They want to look at my ovaries and see if I have any cysts. If I'm pregnant can they tell? At what point in a pregnancy does a fetus finally show up on an ultrasound? If I'm only a couple weeks pregnant they can't see it right??
